When I was in school years ago, a certain Geometry teacher who is now retired "propositioned" me. There is a teacher there, female, who went through a divorce because her husband found "pictures" she sent to a male student on her phone. Other teachers who propositioned my friends are still there. Think English and physics. They all need to be arrested, but they still teach YOUR kids.

I've seen her posting crap on her new "victim" because she doesn't like he's married or that the mother of the son won't let AD be rude and control her child. Her new BF is now smoking weed with his son so he wants to be with him and AD is allowing him to have full access to her 17 yr old daughter. I wish I was making this up. The son's mother won't entertain this dumb BS as she called it but did provide a screenshot of AD threatening to cause extreme bodily harm to her. If you look on AD's FB u can see all the passive aggressive and direct posts she can't seem to stop making about this woman although this woman has blocked her from all social media and phones as well as places she has to be with her son, i.e school

I don't want to criticize anyone here but what are these parents thinking? It's one thing for the school to have tryouts but another for these parents to allow their children to tryout.

You are not. I have children that attend this school and I honestly don't know what they are thinking. We would all love for life to go back to normal but unfortunately, that cannot happen. If we have to have protection guidelines for our students, then I believe any extracurricular activities should be not an option.

Just got this update: BES Community: Wow! We have a large number of girls in grades 6-8 who will be trying out this year. Due to Covid guidelines for phase II, we may only have 24 and Coach Pam. Therefore, we will not be able to have a fifth grade girls' team this year. We are deeply saddened because there are some great athletes coming up. Keep practicing and be ready to join in 6th grade next school year. Not all 6-8 are guaranteed a spot on team. Coach will discuss more at tryouts in July 21-22-23! Mark your calendars. See y'all on the court! (If regulations change to allow spectators). So atleast 24 or more parents are allowing their children to try out for volleyball. I seriously can't be the only one who thinks there is something wrong with this.

Ms. Courville, the principal of Branch Elementary has just sent out the following announcement: BES Community: Volleyball tryouts will be the week of July 20-24 at BES gym for grades 5-8 girls. If you are interested in try outs, please send a text to Coach Pam@ 337-581-4647. Due to following Phase II Covid-19 guidelines, see attachment. Go Lady Eagles! Let's have an amazing season despite Covid-19! So we don't even know if school will be resumed per normal in August. And even if it is, the CDC has these outrageous guidelines such as desks 6 feet apart, children 10 & up wearing masks, no switching classes, eating lunch in classrooms, etc. Which all are written by someone who doesn't know how school works apparently. But now, this woman wants a volleyball team where the girls will have to congregate to practice, not to mention have gyms full of students & parents for games. Everyone will be required to wear a mask? That'll be good but how about we don't put our children or ourselves in danger by having volleyball practices or games. Our children cannot learn properly because they have to stay in one classroom with a teacher who doesn't teach all subjects normally, but they can have a volleyball team? This concerns me about how much our children's safety is a concern of this principal & this school. I know we all are out of place & don't know what the right thing is & we are all trying to figure it out. However, I do not see how having an activity that is not necessary for the wellbeing of our kids & could be dangerous for them, be something these people are even considering!
